FX FX Royale Huma Reg

Run away Steve, run very far away. Maybe. This is what my computer security said about the link you posted.
Thx
Dan

Even if they are a legit site @steve123 , they are located in India
My guess is you would wait longer for theirs than one directly from HUMA
And HUMA will probably cost less (including shipping) too
I just put a Royle reg in my HUMA cart to find the total
It came to 108.89 Euro shipped UPS to my east coast address.

Hope this helps

As a matter of fact, no, I ordered an adapter from them and it was here in 4 days.
Which is pretty much the same for Huma to the US, I know, since I recently ordered a regulator for my Bobcat.

I had zero issues with the site, payment or shipping.
$21 order hat $17 shipping.
Shipping was DHL

Good to know that you find them reliable, and that delivery was prompt, Matt (@Spindl;eB)
Another reliable source for parts is always welcome
And provides another place to comparison shop.

Does anyone know if Trajectron also happens to be an official FX spare parts source?

Edward

Thanks guys.

Ha, now I'm even more confused, lol??

If I were to keep using the stock reg in my Royale 400 where is the best place to get the correct O-rings 'as a kit"? I ask because I ordered a O-ring kit from the Captain O-ring last year, replaced all the O-rings in the gun, except in the reg, because the kit didn't include them for the reg, which is annoying. The O-rings in the reg are 13 or so years old and ruined.

Steve
You could try at this e-Bay seller
He might have them
FWIW
I have bought O-ring kits for my older FX guns from him without any issue
If you do not see what will definitely fit your reg, it might pay to message him

This video is a Ernest Rowe "how to " about rebuilding/sealing an FX Regulator
It pays to take a look
FWIW
After watching this I went ahead and bought a HUMA

Thanks. I saw it.

I'm not very confident working on airguns because I've messed them up before.
If it weren't for his other videos 'which got me started on this project', and particularly that video(thanks Earnest), I wouldn't have ventured to rebuild my Royale, or to try to get into my reg. This is the first time I'm trying a full rebuild, having not messed up so far, and will hopefully be successful.

Thanks guys.

Go on FX's website and get the drawings with oring sizes listed, and order from "the oring store" or "orings and more".
Huma is fast, real fast to the USA, so I'd go that route. The Huma works better than the stock one for me. I have Humas in most of my guns, with a few exceptions.

By the way, the Royale is one of the finest airguns ever made, bar none. I wish I still had one.

Uh the Huma reg came in two days ago. Hmmm well that's fine by me.

I got that reg in but there's a leak between the male foster fill nipple and the piece it screws into. I tried two different O-rings there which blew out so I'm assuming there must have been a Delrin washer that goes there which I apparently lost.
The washers are available on Amazon.
Just search for:
PCP Delrin Washer
Shipping sucks, probably be better off ordering the nylon assortment.

I have a several foster fittings of various threads. I think yours are m10 thread. I could toss one in an envelope and mail it.

Shoot me a pm if you still need one.

Newman Buck at Cape Fear Air Guns can help you with the FX reg. He was with FX in NC before the restructuring, when he started his own company. His web site: https://www.capefearairguns.com/.
Just FYI, I put a Huma reg in my Royale 400, and after several years it developed a leak. I couldn't get a correct O ring for it, so I bought a current generation FX reg from Newman and it works fine. The original FX reg was not as consistent as I wanted, so I bought the Huma, which was fine until it leaked. The new FX reg works as well as the Huma. I don't know if there was a change in specs, but the external reg O rings I bought from Huma did not seal well.

Thanks for reaching out with that info guys!

My friend Bobby, who lives an hour away, made a custom Delrin washer for me to exactly fit between the two surfaces and the Royale is back in action again. "(Much appreciated BTW and fun to watch him do it)" Now to wait for some warmer weather to enjoy shooting the old Royale again.

I got a brand new Vector Continental 5-30x56 mounted yesterday and did a quick zero but I'm curious how fast it's sending the 18's compared to before.
