All of a sudden the magazine for my FX Royale 200 doesn't fit. Actually, it does, but I almost have to pound it in. Never had that problem before. Can't imagine what happened. Anyone else run into this or have thoughts?

I had an FX400 that I needed to loosen the top grub screws to allow the barrel to slide ever so slightly forward. I carefully inserted the magazine in place with them loose then tightened the grub screws down. Just be careful not to allow the barrel to rotate when doing this.

I recently dropped my mag on the tile floor and buggered the aluminum where the breech end slots into the mag channel. Had to file it down to restore bliss.

bvan, is right in properly fitting a tight mag.
now is the question--> is the set screw loose before the issue?

This would be my first guess as well. If the grub screw(s) holding the barrel in place became loose then the barrel may have worked its way back into a position that won't allow the magazine to fit.

I checked the grub screws and all three are completely tight. Then just for the heck of it, I tried to insert the mag and it went in like butter!
I have a question though: Since where the magazine inserts is a gap in the block, how would the barrel moving effect that gap in the block?

The inlet port of the barrel protrudes past the breech and into the magazine area. It holds the magazine in place.
