FX FX Slug Liner for M4 / 30cal 600mm barrel

I got my new M4 last week and ordered the slug STX Heavy liner with it, after more research it seems like I really don't need it for shooting slugs even with the different twist rate, I really only shoot 100 yards or so for varmints. Can I just use the one already in my M4 for slugs and pellets? I am thinking about returning the liner or sell it.

Thoughts?

If you shooting slug then you will need the slug liner for better accuracy. It will shoot pellet just fine. On my .25 cal impact I install the slug liner and I shoot both slug and pellets. No need to keep switching liners for slug or pellet. If you are only shooting pellets then no reason to even buy the slug liner in the first place. Pellet liner will shoot pellet more accurate.

As for trying to return a liner, I doubt the dealer will take it back. It would be consider a used item now and they won't be able to sell it as new for full price. You cant return air gun items cause of buyer remose lol. This ain't amazon.com

since i like to shoot both slug and pellets, which liner would be the better middle ground? The pellet or slug liner?

I have the .22 M4 in 600mm, yours look identical to mine and I shoot both pellets and slugs as well, it has the perfect balance for me, i prefer to keep mine quiet with optimal shot count, i don't need a gazillion FPE so i haven't upgrade any power add on stuff to it, the stock superior liner is fine with slugs up to about ~27gr, and the stock 6g hammer will support the reg pressure up to around 130 bar at around 50~55ft-lb in .22 with zero upgrade or mod. Shoot it with the stock superior liner now with whatever slugs you got at 100 yard to see if you're happy with accuracy, if your accuracy at 100 yard is junk then you could try the slug liner.
