Tuning Fx slug pin probe seating depth

Have you guys played around with the fx pin probe seating depth for shooting slug? And what are your findings? Does it matter and how to find the right setting?

You can only adjust it in so far before you can’t get your magazine in the gun. And guess what? That’s where your factory probe is set. So it’s pretty much a gimmick on the seating depth thing.

I would get rid of the pin probe and get the huma pellet probe, is has a large opening for the air to come in. It works about as good at the oin probe without having to mess with it.

The best results are having the projectile as far forward in the barrel as possible with the ability to still put your magazine.

Yes, if the pin is longer than 6.5mm you risk jamming due to mag carrier would block the fat part of probe. There is very little room or about 1mm for error between jamming and ammo starting to blocking slug port especially with pellets.

If single loading then as far forward as possible.
