FX superior heavy liner - how tight?

I got 2 Superior heavy liners .177 / 700mm that i'm using to shoot slugs.
If I push a slug trough both liners - one of the liners is VERY tight and need good force to push the slug trough. The other liner - the slug dont need much of a push - it goes trough very easy. The difference is big when comparing the force needed to push the slug trough. Both liners are accurate.


Is this normal for 2 identical liners?

Is it tight all the way through or just has spots that are tight? Either way as long as they shoot well, you're good you'll just have to adjust what size to use when shooting slugs.

One is very very tight all the way through and a bit tighter at choke
The other is smooth / not tight until the last inch where the choke is

Interesting, effects normally advertises their liners, like the second one. If you have the time, and a set of calipers or micrometer slug your barrel and see if there's any difference in the sizing.

I have an early Superior standard liner in 700 mm.
It is so tight that my 600 mm superior standard liner and the 700 mm superior standard liner shoots same speed.
When the 700 superior Heavy liner came out i bought one of them - its much better - now I can also see the speed increase.
