FX Superior Liner quality and consistency

Sorry, this is simply not true. It is impossible to make the process perfectly consistent with these straws. Hammer forging can give you much better results.

Barrel production methodology doesn’t necessarily reflect quality nor precision, the precision of the process and machineries does. There are cheap hammer forget barrels that shoot like shotguns and if you don’t believe all of my FX liners(well over 10) are awesome then believe in whatever you want to believe in.

Hammer forge in general is the cheapest mass production method for barrels, every cheap PB has hammer forged barrel. if you truly want precision barrels then get the cut, lapped and polished carbon wrapped barrels, most here probably will gag on the 1000+ price tag.

The 600 mm Barrel my .177 Maverick came with, just horrible, would not shoot anything at speed, aside for beasts.
But other pellets @ speeds that work for others, no way in hell, but shooting really slow ( 600 FPS ) and the MRD pellets was actually laser accurate.
But i dont buy a FAC rifle to shoot like a little old lady with a blowpipe.
I wouldn't even give that barrel to my worst enemy.

Replacement purchase 700 MM barrel was nice, second barrel in the heavy flavor was initially bad and for sure did not like lighter slugs, BUT ! that somehow changed and the Heavy liner are now at least as good as the STD one, with lighter slugs and pellets of just about any weight.
