Tuning FX T12FT reseal and props to FX.

I picked this FX T12FT a few weeks ago locally from a Craigslist ad. He was upfront and let me know it had a slow leak. It has some ring rash on the checkering but other than that it’s in great shape. It even came in the original box.

Looking around the only complete kit I could find was at AOA but there were out of stock. I emailed FX Friday night and they responded first thing Monday morning saying they had the parts and to send a shipping address and they would send an invoice.

They billed me, confirmed address and had the parts out for shipping all before noon. From first contact to parts in my hand was a total of three days from North Carolina to California. Wow! And, the cost was less than half of what AOA had them listed at including the shipping.

Took me about 45 minutes taking my time to strip, clean, replace and put it back together. Their kit even included the valve stem with orings already installed.

I own a good number of airguns and other than a Venom Viper that is kinda sorta an FX this T12FT is my first FX branded rifle. Easy to work on but damn they use a lot of seals in their guns.

Hopefully tomorrow it is still holding air.
