FX telescopic shroud question

Is there a POI shift with the telescopic shroud out and in? Also, theoretically, wouldn’t it be more accurate to have the telescopic shroud in since it increases the rigidity of the barrel? What are your experiences?

There is a shift. shroud position should not affect barrel rigidity. But will alter harmonics, and air pressure forward of the muzzle

I notice no poi shift on my impact.

I do NOT see a poi shift with my .22 Crown at 25 yds.

Weird. I noticed a shift with change in clock on mine too. FX Crown 22

I see no shift on my Crown. But the dang thing shoots about every pellet at 29 yards at all but the same spot. Slugs are a different story "it no shoot good".

My Crown VP in .25cal shows no POI on shroud in or out. Hades and AVS slugs shoot almost identical.
