FX FX Wildcat M1 wild fps fluctuations

Check barrel / pellet probe o-ring. Dirt or something making hammer drag? Broken hammer spring? Bolt probe not lining up with transfer port (too far in / out)? Even after cleaning the regulator could still have bad seals. With the age of the WC mk1's it is probably due for new seals if you have not done that already. Just had to chase down a leak in mine 3 months ago. I replaced all of the seals.

Thanks for your input ! So i just finished going through the Wildcat mk1 as Rodeo suggested and put all fresh seals in from Arizona Airguns. Inspected each and every component found no issues except for some marks on the hammer from the sear i suspect. Cleaned up the hammer and retested and much to my dismay still dealing with the same wild fps fluctuations . Thoughts of raping it around a Tree or Pole sounds very satisfying right about now. Please help save a Wildcat from certain demise. Any input is and will be appreciated. Reg pressure is steady at 110 to 120 bar

Can you post a pic of your rig?
Is the accuracy affected?
Is air escaping anywhere?
Are you using a moderator?

Some things that come to mind:
Check barrel is secured tightly(doesn't move) and aligned correctly with respect to rotation and depth to make sure the transfer port hole is aligned correctly.
Check for pellet clipping.
Accuracy is somewhat affected
I get a whisper of air @ the breech ever so lightly when firing
I did focus on the transfer port alignment it was and is perfect.
Using factory moderator
Never noticed any clipping

Bought it used form a member on Yellow Forum some time ago but never checked Velocity because it shot so well. So it might of had that issue when i bought it then.

This one has me stumped and frustrated to say the least.
I may just order new spring hammer and valve

Thanks for your input

Again Thanks for your input. The Probe is set perfectly. Today i brought the reg pressure to 130-140 bar and shot some strings.
with the same extreme spreads from 12-89 fps in 5 strings. What I did notice was a sound difference from the hammer hit from time to time. While i did inspect the spring, hammer and weight I cannot point to any obvious weak or bad component . Any thoughts on this matter will be given consideration.

And you did check the inside of tube where the hammer/striker rides for a marks or galling or. If you slide the hammer in is the hammer able to rock about much at all? I do not know that rifle at all but have seen different brands (esp used, well only used) where the hammer could tilt & drag and have seen an out of round tube. Make sure to check the entire lenght it travels.

Keep us posted.
