N/A FX Wildcat MK3

I recently purchased an MK3 Wildcat .22 compact (tube) version. As of today, I have run just under 500 pellets down range. The only thing I have done to my new gun was 1st day I removed the barrel and cleaned it. I did turn the barrel, so the transfer port was on the slug port. I ran it over the chronograph then and today. I am very pleased with its performance and consistency. I'm pretty much getting factory specs on shot count (60) @886fps average with a SDV of 1.6 Today I also reversed the transfer port to pellets. It dropped 20 fps from the slug port on the thimble, so I returned it to the slug port. I usually let a gun break in before I try adjusting/tuning it as I believe that's the number 1 cause of problems/issues with new guns.

Congrats on your gun! I almost got the Wildcat, 3.5 years ago! It is way better now in V3.

I have a Maverick Compact of the same caliber. Shoots great!! I use the pellet port on mine. Similar std dev of 1.8 fps at 887fps with 15.9 FX pellets over 36 shots. Getting about 115 shots from 250 bar to 90 bar( about 6 mags worth). Front reg at 120, rear at 78. I sort pellets to .1 grain. Recently discovered the Shooting with Phil Quick Tune System for the Maverick and Wildcat and, absolutely LOVE it. No tools! I salute you on your ability to get there without this innovation. It has re-energized me by its ability to get the precision I want, quickly, with any .22 pellet or lightweight slug.

Thanks, the quick tune is my next purchase, right now I'm just going to shoot it as is.
