FX Wildcat's True Weight

Does the FX Wildcat actually weigh 6.1 lbs as advertised in their specs? I know some gun manufacturers tend to underestimate their guns. I recently ordered a 6.2 lb gun, when it arrived it weighted in at 7.7 lbs . . . . . . very frustrating.

Keep in mind that compressed air adds weight. If the tank is full the gun will be heaver than if it is empty.

You are correct! The air in the tank, at 3000 psi weighs approx 2.1 ounces. I don't think that matters much.

I didnt weight it but it isnt 7.7 lol My scale is such that I have to stand then hold it and whip out a calculator. My Daystate with 30oz scope and Harris bipod is 13.5 lbs. The Wildcat is remarkably balanced, just a few elements stacked over top each other. I can weigh it with my MTC Genesis.
