FX wireless chronograph does not show reading or sound.

Has anyone noticed an issue with the FX Radar that doesn't pick up the pellet travel speed when shooting in the summer sun and the black box gets hot? A few days ago it didn't want to work and then as the evening came around and the shade crossed my shooting bench, it started working more reliably.

I had one purchased about 6 weeks ago. Work beautifully for about a month. then it stopped working. Sent it back to optics planet and they sent me a new replacement. This one connects fine but does not seem to pickup anything. Reinstalled app with no changes. Have it set on MKII setting and sound button is on. Any ideas?
