My FX400 22cal is regulated and I used to average 910 fps with 18.1 grain JSB pellets. Now I average 895 fps. Is my reg bad or what?

I am not familiar with the 400 but if it has an ring on the probe or barrel I would start there.

Scott, sounds like what happened to my Boss when its regulator finally died. I replaced it with a Huma (around $80ish) instead of OEM FX reg per Centercut's suggestion. BEST thing I ever did to it! I watched Ernest Rowe's videos & had Huma set it for 160bar before shipping it out to me. Not sure what the 400 reg should be set at. Accuracy, power & shot count has never been better in my Boss. EDIT: FYI, I did try to rebuild the OEM reg twice before ordering the Huma but couldn't make it right. I'll try to post links for the vids I watched.
