Galahad, BAH!, I'm through with you!

Doc, Yeah I can't stay away from those Crickets no matter if I sell one, I seem to replace it with another Cricket?

John, I'm digging that butt hook on the end of your beautiful rifle. The first time I tried one I didn't like it, but then at the last match I tried Don Armstrong's on his Thomas. He has the top hook that fits over your shoulder like yours and it seemed like it completely takes all the weight off your arms? It was a dream to shoulder. He actually made his in his machine shop. Trying to get him to make me one.

A whole lotta money sittin' on the ground there ;-)
His is the bottom right. Well you can't miss that butt hook? LOL

I really like yours though. Where did you get it?

I like the hook concept. I've been working on a new stock design for my Cricket and I've made it so the butt end hooks under my arm and over my shoulder and it totally changes the feel (for the better).

I also like how the butt plate is just the rigid metal without inches of padding. PCP rifles have no perceivable recoil in smaller calibers and certainly nothing that would give you a sore shoulder so you're better off with a rigid shoulder weld than a spongy rubber one.

Would love to see a pic Zebra!

@Marksman3006....here you go.
Man that guy needs to take a few shots of whisky to loosen up before going on video ;) Then again I don't recommend mixing alcohol and shooting.

Looking back I wish I would've done a full review before & after the tune.
That's one lucky guy who got that rifle from you Michael. I wanted it so bad when you sold it.

I doubt you could get Mike to build one? He's so busy with the BR and FT rifles that he builds and traveling shooting the circuits. Take a gander at Precision Air's Thomas page.

I skipped the BR stock and went straight for the FT option, but dealt straight from Mike Niksch.
You can get a .177 rifle from Mike that will shoot the 16.1 gr JSB Beast at 880-890 FPS for close to 28 FPE which is legal in the Open BR class.
I shoot the 13.4 JSB Monsters at 820 FPS which is at the upper limit for the 20 FPE max for FT

As far as I know he has no plans to make anything above the .177 cal ? But I guess money would talk if someone really had to have one? LOL
One of the main things I like about the Thomas is how easy it is to clean the barrel. No oring in the breech end of the barrel to worry with. The oring is in the swing port.
