Just wanted to post the GAMO has a 25 caliber on sale on their website it's an exclusive so you have to buy directly from them they're only selling 10 they've already sold 6 there's only four left just thought I'd post this in case somebody was looking for a magnum 25 Cal I'm not a big fan of gamo but they are good hunting rifles and you don't mind if you Ding them up,

I ordered one I figured what the heck it comes with pellets plus I added coupon code saved another $20 I like that it's a traditional spring powered and not gas ram

Now on the website it says "6 out of 20". I think that might be for the sale price not total production run or availability. Maybe you're right.

Got mine Monday. The pellets they give you in the kit are ..well..erratic but good for breaking rifle in i guess.
Upon disassembly found the spring was bone dry. No biggie , little time with tune in a tube fixed that. Trigger pull is same as my 22 gamo mag..liveable but not optimum. Included scope is the same as you get with the othe mags, 3-9x40 with no adjustable objective. Serviceable but not spectacular.
About 100 rnds down range in my indoor 24 yd range. Gamo pellets that fit tight in the breach make a ragged 3/8 " hole in the target...looseys fly all over the paper..lol . This is seated , unsupported shooting. I believe this gun is capable of some real good springer accuracy once she settles down and i run some goos 25 cal pellets through it.

let me ask you a question does the breach block have a pressed in pin or a bolt? I ask because other gamo magnums don't have a bolt so you can't tighten the breach block and if/when the barrel gets loose and will not hold its own weight anymore how would you tighten

Well..it is like the other magnums...so i would think it is the same with a pin. My swarm ( gen1) has at least 15000 pellets though it with no issues. If it did come up i would just ream the hole a couple thousands an press in a new hardened pin. I have been a gunsmith for about 20 years now so i know that doesnt sound easy and probably isnt for most. But honestly i dont see that becoming a problem for quite some time.

I've put over 6000 pellets through my swarm magnum g2 that's the gun that got me into this mess, lol
