Gamo Gamo Arrow Regulated?

Hello guys,im kinda new to pcp world and got myself an entry level airgun...gamo arrow .22, after searching for information found out that regulator's are big deal...and saw that models like gamo coyote are possible to tune and install regulator, but didn't find any information yet about Gamo Arrow, anyone can help me out with this ?
Since is a cheap pcp I believe many ppl own one and this might be helpful for a bunch of guys, the airgun is nicely accurate to about 25yadrs and I believe that regulated it can be pushed to maybe 50.

I think the air cylinders and valves are the same as on other Gamo PCPs, contact the regulator manufacturers (Altaros, Huma, etc.)

Dont get too worked up over regs. There are lots of rifle and airgun owners that work out great with no regulator. If you want to try out a pcp I would suggest skipping the arrow and buy and Urban for the better build quality.

I have it already that's why I'm trying to make it a little bit better.

I would personally take that 100 dollars the reg will cost and bank it away toward the next completely better gun.

Oh I see. Do you have a chronograph? That would be my next purchase. You kinda have to have one to do any real tuning and testing; especially if you want to see if a regulator would be an improvement. How many shots do you get now?

No i didn't buy one yet,will do soon,With relative accuracy I can get about 40 shots at 230 bar max pressure the main problem is that always a few pellets hit out of the zone by no reason, these awful flyers..regulator should solve this problem, not sure if would be possible to get new cylinder with more capacity, that would be the amazing, from 40 shots unregulated to maybe 60 or 70 regulated

Yeah that's my plan for the future, I want an FX dreamline...but this airgun would fit perfectly to my girlfriend..and the better it is..the more fun she can enjoy

Well typically your shot count will go down if you add a regulator inside a typical cylinder setup, since the reg will take up potential air volume. If you were to lower your speeds/air-consumption enough, you can get more shots. But I think after you start buying more parts and turning the rifle into a project, you might be better off saving for something that has more air. I like to tinker on stuff myself so I understand you wanting to improve it, but I think you should look at a different platform for that. The Avenger has a lot of mods you can do and get some great results for little money. There are other options for sure, but I think the Arrow is pretty limited.

It is not worth investing in that platform, they are ordinary grooved barrels and not cold forged ones like on more expensive models. You now have a Coyote for around €350 in Spain, look for a little...

Yeah, thats the overall opinion and I will follow it will not invest at all in this gamo Arrow, will get something good is worth the money...I want to get into field target and I'm thinking about an fx dreamline classic

The Arrow has a poorly designed firing valve prone to breakage, so I'd not bother with putting in a regulator. Nor would I advise putting in a stronger hammer spring, not without rigging up something to support that firing valve pin; remove the stock and you'll see what I mean.

And I'd consider boring out the transfer port before installing a regulator, it's something I plan on doing when it comes back from warranty repair of the firing valve.
