I sent my scope in for repairs that was mounted on my Benji XL1100 so I was forced to get out and knock the dust off my Gamo CFX, I have to say that this rifle is stupid accurate. Shooting 68 caliber paintballs from 25-30 yards and hitting every time. Very impressive and seems to be way more accurate than my break barrel. Does anyone out there shoot this rifle? What are your thoughts on it? I really think it's time for me to head to that Air Arms TX. Seems like my break barrel is breaking my heart.

I've been kind of looking at the CFX from time to time, may try one someday. I'm pretty happy with my Beeman R9 breakbarrel for now. Your accuracy issues may be due the plastic breech washers wearing out. Have you tried wiggling the barrel with it closed to see if/how much play or slop there is? Lots of folks replace the plastic washers with brass, I tried this on a Titan that had lost it's accuracy, it helped but not enough to bring it to what it was. That put me off the Benji Nitro series and I no longer recommend them to my friends.The Tx is a top notch choice, beautiful fit, finish, and stock,with all the accuracy you need. They are quite a bit heavier than the CFX though.

cfx was my first springer and it was ok and thats it just ok...then i bought my weihrauch 97k(in USA beeman).now that is a proper springer,just perfect..but for a beginner cfx will do...til the next level

John, I tightened the barrel on my Benji but found that when I shoot paper, it is not tight groups and it cocks harder, the washers are probably wore down by now. My Gamo is right on the money at the same distance. I am happy to say that I just ordered an Air Arms underlever, I knew I would someday make the investment and it was today. Hopefully it will arrive on Black Friday so I will have something to do while my wife spends. LMAO

My TX came yesterday, wow what a beauty, I was more than impressed, I also purchased a Sidewinder that is just as impressive. I am sure it will out shoot me and my Gamo. I may have a break barrel going up for sale soon.

I have a CFX and you are correct in that out to the 25 yards I can shoot in my yard it is more accurate than I am.
I recently won a TX200HC and at this time I outshoot it with my CFX.
I only shoot benched since off hand is terrible for me. I have shot the CFX more than the TX. The CFX is longer which I think makes it less sensitive to my movements. The shot cycle is different between the two which again causes me issues.
They are VERY close in accuracy in my hands and it is possible the TX will outshoot the CFX if I keep shooting it.
Though out to 25 yards they both have done sub dime 5 shot groups for me.
I do like under levers and side levers more than break barrels though have them and at least one is about as accurate as they CFX and TX

I have been shooting the TX and it is an amazing rifle, so smooth, but the CFX is smooth as well as I installed the Charlie trigger. It seems the TX has a lot less twang when I shoot and it is definitely a heavier rifle. I want to get it to the range this weekend if possible to bench rest it and see how accurate it is at different ranges. I would love to see where I am at shooting out to 75 yards. It has to be more accurate than my 10-22 Carbine. I am actually surprised at how accurate that rifle isn't.
