Looks like i have a crack in the lense on gamo varmint. After about 1 week of shooting. Thinking of getting it replaced per warranty. You guys think that will work?

It'll probably happen again.
Unless you:
1. tune the gun or detune the gun to a lower power level.
2. invest in a recoil absorbing scope mount.
3. Invest in a scope designed to take the double recoil of your Gamo
My choice would be 2. (or combine 2 and 3 together)

4. optically center your scope with an adjustable scope mount. You can try shimming a regular scope mount (it's fast and cheap) but why put extra pressure on your scope tube when there are better options.

They'll take it or they took 2 from me ( all package scopes). Thing is. Maybe you het a better then maybe not.. i think of 4 i made one good that holds zero . Just can't focus too well and i taped it down to 8 power ( power ring turns when shot ..lol)

Throw all package scopes in the trash bin.
They trick the customer, that you get an amazing deal, to include an optic in the package.
But the bundled optic, is garbage and lowest quality of them all, they bulk order like 10.000 of them for like super cheap.
I ALWAYS put a 1 piece mount on a springer, even if its my low power Beeman R7.
Combine that with a scope brand that makes springer rated scopes, and ur good to go.
I suggest Hawke Airmax line or a bit cheaper the Leapers True strength line.

If it's broken that soon; warranty it, then continue to send them back(if they break again)until they send you a working(good) one. Seems dumb; but they need to know what they are selling so that they can(hopefully) fix it in future sales.

Seemes amber at gamo told me if the guns warranty is 1-3 or 5 year . The scope on the gun it sold with is the same cause it's under a package deal .. ..
Dont hold me to that .
But all jokes aside there not the best . But you seen my 100y tried with that gamo package . What more do i ask of one outside holding together...lol
