Gamo g-magnum 1250 IGT mach 1 disassembling help

Hi!

My gun have two safety pins unlike other gamo air rifle versions with only one pin. I have removed first pin but i dont know how to remove second one. This pin from photo:

That pin have two small holes and dont know what i need to do to remove it. Turn it clockwise or counterclockwise and at what degree? Before that do i need to push gas ram inside like in other gamo rifle versions? I dont want to break anything inside by guessing and trying so if someone here know how to disassemble this gun please help.

Thanks for the reply!

I have already disassembled and assembled my rifle.

You have right, that pin is compressed by the gas ram so i needed to push gas ram inside the cylinder to be able to remove that pin. I have used this wooden frame :

car lifter like this:

and this piece of wood with two screws for pushing the gas ram :

seems like gamo makes it impossible so that you'll have to send it back to them.......i dont even thing they sell parts for breakbarrels. i know that torx or star key that is where the barrel pivots has broken more than on of my torx wrenches. sheared right off. - superglue in there on those pivot screw threads. that second release button reminded me of that special tool for the endplug of the gamo hunter extreme magnums......

You can find parts for gamo rifles online. For the torx screws I agree, next time i will replace those with same size hex screws.

Not relative to this particular gun but in the past I needed something similar and used a piece of steel pipe small enough to fit inside the receiver. Then I cut sections out of the pipe where space was needed to slide past the pins and trigger group, leaving "fingers" that could compress the internals and allow pin removal. I think it was for a Diana 460 but not certain as it's been a long time ago. Might be something to try in this case if needed.

The 2 pin tool, sure it has a name, that you use to unscrew the Hunter extreme/1250 could also a pain if you can’t find something to use.

This 2 screw idea is actually quite good. I’d sand and file the sharp and jagged edges so it’s totally smooth. Mike Ellingsworth made a neat little tool for his on YouTube. I’d like to know why a company would make it so hard to work on their guns. Are they really experiencing law suites from people who hurt themselves doing stuff the company advises against?
