Must be on my old device i busyed qnd cant get stuff off it ... but it is or should be at gta forum.

lol , one ring

thats weird , video i watched he had best results with 7.56 gr , so thats what i ordered
Thimg is you'll have to test for best pellet..

Then with that not only ones that give you best accuracy bit what ones work best in the auto loader.

Now the loader can damage a pellet during the loading process and that will cause bad grouping or fliers ( not just gamo, auto loaders in general).

Thats the thing with the newer gen3i it's redesigned that helps prevent pellet loading damage vs the older gen 1 or 2.

Ignore YouTube reviews especially Gamo reviews. 99% of those are basically paid advertisements. Gamo ships out a lot of free stuff to YouTubers. Of course they're going to push the Gamo pellets too. Not only are they over priced but they're under performing to boot.

Long story short, try em cause you have them but don't expect too much.
My Maxxim likes the Gamo Red Fire pellets the best, but they're too expensive for punching holes in paper. Any other Gamo pellet I tried ranged from 'mediocre' to 'totally sucked'. I do have a tin of the lightweight alloy pellets that I fire just to hear that supersonic *CRACK*.

Actually I take back what I said. Those Red Fires are actually pretty solid in a few of my guns. The quality of them is noticeably better too when you open the tin. Definitely pricy though but still less than the PolyMags they copied

Lol so many people chiming in as I imagined for this post. I will just say this: DO NOT take advise from others and let it affect your experience/perception of your own rifle before you ever get a chance to try it out. Try pellets, distances, scopes, mounts etc. like we all do and then report back. By all means not telling you what to do but in my experience, its best to just go "Do it yourself" and don't let influence persuade you.

Example: When I first got into airguns 7 years ago or so, I came onto forums' looking for advise and it made me miss out on some really good guns based off popular opinion. I now own a Gamo Magnum after many years trying the best of the best and lowest of the low and I love it. So much so I traded off my TX200 as I just didn't use it like I did the Magnum. Just try things out and go from there...

Happy shooting! And welcome to the rabbit hole.

Clearly didn't read through the thread and then makes a comment about not listening to others and selling his TX because the Gamo was a better fit. Currently still has the Gamo up for sale (on the same ad as the TX) because he's moving to PCP and only has a tin of pellets through it...... okey dokey then.

i agree with you 100% , i see it allot in the AK and AR side of things

if you get 20 people on a forum saying they had a bad experience , thats 20 people out of how many units sold ,of course they will gravitate to the forums for help , so on face it looks bad , but if ts 20 out of 5k , then it puts a different perspective , then factor did the warranty hold , so 100% agree

ive bought the rifle , yea i had a brain fart and didnt come to those in the know for advice , but i opened the barn door last night , flicked the light on and 6 rats scurried for the shadows so i was peeved , watched a few YT vids , it was on sale and seemed to be exactly what i was after , not crazy expensive , but not bargain basement , so i leaped , also factor in i can be popping willard tomorrow eveing ,lol

Nah thats not why. That gun isn't a lightweight. Despite what the box says you don't want fast pellets. They don't stabilize too well. You want something closer to the 875-900fps mark or less. On top of that light pellets can cause the piston to slam which isn't great for the gun and can cause some shot cycle issues

Put 30 or so pellets through that gun outdoors before moving indoors. New guns have a tendency to diesel until excess lube burns off. It'll be 22lr loud and that may ring your ear drums a bit and lighter pellets will make it worse
ahhh , will do , i will figure out what optic i have that will work on it , but need the rfle first so will sight it in and play with it to get use to it so 30 + rounds probably is no problem , i ordered a tin of the heavier pellets , will see what it does with the two different weights and go from there

Lol you obviously you don’t read into things very well yourself. If you want to argue Id love too but I just don’t see the point honestly. What is your point that you are making off of mine on someone else’s post interested in a gun? Both my guns were up for trade and now NLA. One was traded (The TX200) due to its $ value over the the Gamo. I don’t need to explain myself to someone who is clearly bored with a keyboard but at least have the decency to message me directly like a grown man if you have a problem and not post useless banter on someone’s thread.

Dude your entire comment was useless banter that could have easily been avoided had you actually read through the thread. You came in here assuming everyone was bashing Gamo and then made that BS post to make yourself look like a hero.

You don't still have your Magnum because you "love" it. You still have it because nobody else wanted it so the TX went to finance a compressor. Simple as that. Had someone made the offer on that Gamo it would have been long gone. For some reason nobody wanted to take you up on that offer though. Can't imagine why.

Something lighter weight with a good lifetime warranty is best. This is kind of where the heavier pellet thing comes in handy too. Heavier pellet = softer shot cycle (usually) which will prolong scope life and keep it from sliding on the rail/in the rings. A good one piece mount is handy too. You don't have to spend a fortune there either. Those $15 UTG mounts on Amazon work great on piston guns.

Long story short, break barrels aren't like anything in the firearm world. They're finicky but there are lots of little tips and tricks out there that when done properly will give you an amazing shooter. I have more than a few that will keep up with a rimfire out to 50yds or so.

Lol! You really are angry! I can’t believe you figured out my evil plan to hijack this guys thread to spread my banter bc I’m so angry no one wanted my stuff! Come on guy, just grow up already. I’m done replying ruining this guys thread, message me if you would like to continue.
