I love the power my Gamo swarm has but cocking it is a workout, does it get easier over time , is there anything I can do to make it easier?

I have the .177 Swarm Magnum.Makes me curious to see what a 177 version would do with a JSB KO Slug. If they can do 20fpe that might be a nice speed for expansion.
Anyone know if the Mach 1 version has a shroud around the barrel or is it just solid plastic? My Hunter version just has the normal Gamo air stripper thing that doesnt seem to do much to quiet it down.
I seen them pba slugs at 8g .177. Now with the 10g lead as well a springer guy could easily venture out in to slugsPics loaded now
I tried these in .25 and got 860fps average with themI seen them pba slugs at 8g .177. Now with the 10g lead as well a springer guy could easily venture out in to slugs
What yardage you shooting at you think? Ive been wanting to go squirrel hunting with cause i have hunting sessions of like 5 hours and end up shooting quite a bit of rounds and the pcp has a limited number of rounds i can shoot before im forced to go back home.It does seem kinda low, I think mine in 22Cal is about 29-30fpe. Local temps and elevation might affect your fps maybe? But I wouldnt want to be a squirrel on the wrong end of that thing
