Gamo Swift?

Was just browsing on FB and saw a post from @backyardshooting showing off a Semi Auto .25 Gamo sporting a Bottle. While I'm not really interested in Semi-Auto airguns, it is interesting news worthy of sharing. I'm actually hoping they come out with an Urban 2.0 at some point, maybe in .177, that would peak my interest.

I’ve got one of the first Airspeeds that JSAR has brought in a few years ago. I am quite pleased with its function and accuracy in .25 cal. It’s not a power house but it does what it was advertised as.the only real issue I’ve had has been with the springs on the magazines. They have both been replaced with metric orings and that seems to have cured the problem. If it was available with the bottle , I would have surely bought it instead. Now let’s hope Gamo drops the price point to what the rifle is actually worth. 1k or lower. Not the price they are asking for the Evanix model.

I had the .22 version of the Evanix Airspeed and that was the biggest POS I've ever owned. The metal on the sear was way too soft and kept jamming up on the hammer and the accuracy was a joke. I tried many things to get it to work properly and nothing worked. Eventually ended up selling the good stuff for parts and trashed the rest. I will never own another Evanix after that experience.

I'd choose the Urban hands down over one of these. It's a BSA gun anyways
