If it's an older rifle, I owned one for a while (edit - El Gamo 126) I know nothing about current Gamo stuff except to avoid.
Mine was actually easier to shoot accurately than my friend's FWB 603... it looked very industrial... actually pretty ugly, but the ergos were very well thought out and it was incredibly good to shoot 10M with.
The triggers were as good as the FWB, the pumping effort pretty low, and loading pretty easy. The one thing to be concered about is the valve system... vague memories here, but I remember it being pretty different and somewat delicate. I, personally, would own another and not be afraid of it, but I've come a long way since that time, especially in shop skills... Not sure where you'd get parts, if needed.
Btw, if it's the same rifle, Daisy imported them for a while so there are a number of them with Daisy markings...
