Gamo urban fill probe

Recently broke out my urban to practice on along side my bullboss. I filled the urban and used it til it needed filled again but not the probe won’t go back in. I’m not sure what the deal is with it but short of beating it in with a hammer, which I didn’t do, I can’t get this thing to go
Hatsan is the bottom probe

No the hatsan is bigger. No way to confuse the 2. I’ll fix that pic

I would put a little silicone grease on it?dive grease?

Silicone grease on rubber "O" rings will likely solve problem, as Willy and Scotty said, alignment or obstruction problem, if no difference. Small tube of silicone plumber's grease for valve stems/faucets (Danco #88693) worked for me. WM

it only goes in till it hits the step,, sorry for the fuzzy photos,, phone camera and to much caffeine

If silicone grease doesn't help, check to see if anything seems out of alignment or if something is stuck in the hole. Pictures aren't much help, what seems to be sticking out of gun doesn't match, at least to my eyes, the fill probes pictured earlier.
