I am guilty of not giving Gamo sufficient credit for making a decent rifle. I think it is my aversion to big box marketing and how much I hated this guns original trigger, but in fairness to Gamo I'd like to fess up. Several years ago I had a slam fire incident where the gun went off while the barrel was open. This caused a bend in the barrel and the gun shot over 12 inches high at 20 yards. I did my research, made a jig and attempted to "unbend" the barrel. I never did get it completely back until I eventually put it back in the jig and then smacked it with a dead blow hammer. It still shoots a tiny bit high but my eye can't find the bend area any longer. The trigger has been replaced with the GRT and I put a Maccari kit in it a while back. I have a Centerpoint 4-16X40AO on it with a Leapers one piece mount. This springer doesn't like the artillery hold and my lapse of concentration regarding this is why the center bull on this target looks like a bad group. It wasn't the pellets or the gun. It was my lapse of concentration. Anyway, this target was just shot at 20 yards with 3 different brands of pellets. These are 10 shot groups. Considering what this gun has been through and how well it still shoots, it and Gamo deserves more respect than I typically give them.
