Gauntlet 30 moderator/suppressor choice?

So my rifle arrived yesterday. Right now I'm going through my teardown, clean and adjust. I filled the tank last night to make sure it would fill since some had reported filling issues. I noticed that it is a lot louder than my Gauntlet 2 22 cal. I know it doesn't have a built in moderator/silencer like my 22 cal. So I'm searching for a suitable moderator/suppressor in 30 cal and producing 99 lb. ft. of energy.

My question is what did you put on your rifle and did it do the job or was it lacking? At the moment I'm leaning toward the DonnyFL Shogun unless someone can point me to a better unit.

I had a shogun in my 308 texan..was so good that I could shoot indoors without hearing protection..sold the texan..so it will be in the classified..today

So, I pulled the trigger on the Shogun and it arrives tomorrow.

I put a Donny FL "FX" moderator on mine. Does the job well enough. I've actually never fired it unmoderated but assumed it wouldn't be backyard friendly.

BTW you should be getting up to 110 fpe with your Guantlet 30. Maybe a little more with the hammer spring turned in.

So Shogun arrived today. Still don't have any pellets but I gave it a try anyway. All I can say is without pellets it took the bark and turned it into a light growl! Can't wait to get some pellets through it. Without the Shogun it was like firing a 22 lr in a short barrel. With the Shogun more like a .177 un suppressed. I think I'm going to like it.

Well, I got some pellets finally. I got to say, the Shogun does the trick. Shooting the back yard and my brother who is in the house doesn't hear a thing.
