Gauntlet a good entry level BR rifle?

Is the Gauntlet a good lower priced rifle to get into BR? Looking at possibly getting into BR, specifically the longer range stuff and it seems that this would be a good entry level rifle that you can tune and doesn't cost a small fortune. I am really wanting to get into the competition side of airguns having done 3 gun PB and precision rifle comps most of my life. Do to age a couple bad wheels and the cost 3 gun is not in the cards any longer

Maybe ?? Seems the guy with the camo stocked one pictured got like 4th or somthing with a slightly modded .

I'm the guy that got a bad one in .22. My vintage Sheridan pumpers are more accurate. So I'm done playing,

and planning on replacing it with an FX Crown.

Just dont know or see the following of the g2 vs the original gauntlet.. then i really dont look st that anymore to know what's up with the g2.

Thats a 600mm .30 cal with an Athlon Helos 6x24x30 FFP Scope. I'm not sure what it will be like, but it has a MOA Reticle.
