Pest hunting with a traditional air rifle is my favorite form of hunting. Even prefer it to deer hunting and even the recent elk hunt. Pests l like to hunt are rats, pigeons, starlings etc. However, locations to hunt by me are severely limited. Sounds like Iguanas are a plentiful pests in some areas of Florida. A week long trip to hunt them would be worth my time and expense and of course I would buy an out of state hunting license. Are there any available public areas where they are plentiful and a problem that I can hunt with no hassle from public or authorities. Thanks in advance for all replies. .

I could do an unguided elk hunt for that. Wish I was rich, I would enjoy it a lot more than elk.

You don't need a hunting license to hunt Iguanas in any Wildlife Management south of Fort Myers, just pay the entry fees. That being said, most of the best locations are not in the WMAs. It would probably be best to go on a guided hunt first, to get familiar with where you can play and where you can't.
