Get out your P17!

It was shooting great with just the “iron” sights, but I added a spring loaded dovetail to picatinny adapter rail $11 and a cheap CV Life red dot $20.

I’ve only used JSB 7.33s in it to date, because it shoots them so well!

Your adapter rail and red dot inspired a purchase (well... it didn't take much). It's a great solution for being able to aim easily with an astigmatism. It also answered the question if it was me or the gun that was so inconsistent using open sights. It was me.

Glad that it helped you! In our airgun world of $50 ”adapters” and expensive add-ons, the P-17 with a cheap adapter and $20 red dot is like a gift from the Air Gun Gods for being a member of the club…lol.

My P17 arrived via FedEx yesterday. It's a hoot and a half for what it is.

It seems to like Superdomes best of the pellets I have on hand. So far the only tweak has been sanding the rail with 600 grit paper to knock off the sharp edges.
I did the same. Had to wear a light glove when shooting it a lot to avoid sharp edge discomfort.
