OK
Well, I have been into pcp for a little over a year now and my second compressor is going on the frits. I have way too many PCPs I think so I'm going to thin the heard and just have 3. I have always had springers, piston or gas rams.
I am wanting to get one for a dedicated hunting gun in 22. I have asked this before but best bang for the buck? What about a 95/r9, Diana 350, or a good gas ram? I sold my lefty tx200 and all I have is a 54 in 177 setup for FT and an old Remington npss in 22. Slings are nice and weight about 10lbs with scope. Sorry if I keep asking but this pcp game is getting to be a pain in the arse!

If power is important, I really like my HW90. I have two and they are very reliable and accurate. I really like the TX200 and PS and other than their weight, cannot fault them. For a lighter, general purpose.....ohhh hard to say. I have two HW95 and they are ok,.

Currently, I am amazed by a Fenix 400 in walnut with the USC stock. It weighed 6.53# as delivered, and with a Lightweight scope is very lite and lively. The trigger has a rather long first stage but surprisingly crisp and reliable (haven't measured yet) second stage. The trigger and guard are plastic and that blows a lot of skirts up. The firing sequence is very short, twang free, and seems to be free of surge with very minimal recoil. I just got a new HW97k blue lam in .20 and the trigger is actually screaming for help. Being a HW record, I can fix it, but for that money shouldn't have to. It has a lot of droop and is being a challenge to scope. The Cometa Fenix has no droop. 10sh averages range from a high of just at 19ft # and low of 16.8 with a variety of pellets. It isn't dieseling anymore, but I don't think it has 500 pellets through it. I would guess that Keystones' estimate of 18ft # is good. I have no connection to Keystone whatever.

but then again, everyone should own a R7/HW 30 and a sheridan
and probably a Fenix 400
cutting down to 3????

3 PCPs not so much on the springers

a 9-10# rifle balances awesome IMHO.
My hw80K scoped is close to that, has sling swivels and is a great field gun
(no offense to those who prefer 3# rifles as offhand guns😀) If you can't carry a man sized gun around in a field for long stretches of time you need to get in better shape or take up golf and ride a golf cart.

I was looking at the 80

How does the 90 in 22 shoot? Are they very hold sensitive? Probably not like a regular piston.

just slow down man lol ..it is what you make it ..dont get the idea that you can crank thousands of pellets and fill several tanks a week and it wont cost you in money and maintenance time, it will .. i dont see cranking a springer as a fun option either if its high intensity lol .. maybe set limits, like 2 mags a day except on your birthday and christmas etc .. your equipment will last alot longer heheh

AHHH yes, when you destroy your strong side shoulder and the replacement goes badl
Let's see one cs 3 2 different air Venturi. I'm just going to have to save up and get a Coltri
I got fed up with that as well and bought a NARDI at about 2.2k and now there is very little support for it. I would rather have spent a little more but now those ae 5-6k!!! Am playing with the cheap stuff again.

I like the shot sequence but I wound up dropping the ram down to 21 bar on the first one (.177). The second one in .22 came in right at 22 bar and I haven't touched it. They are not to my taste hold sensitive. They are very accurate. I only have two but the triggers on both are just fine. Recent record triggers have all needed to come out and be fiddled. At the end of the day, more expert people say the record trigger can be better than the trigger on the HW90.

The Airguns are not the problem. This is my 3rd compressor and this has less than 2hrs on it
I have this Omega and it's been flawless. It mostly sits though as I'm a spring gun guy.
