Trying to get a comfortable seat for hunter FT that is also the right height can be challenging. If you can't find something that is already perfect for you, start with a seat you like that is a little too high. Begin by placing a piece of wood (e.g., 1x4, 2x4, etc.) under each of your feet to raise your knees and assume your shooting position (raising the ground under your feet has the same effect as lowering your seat). Continue adding and subtracting wood until you are comfortable, then measure the height of one of the stacks of wood and cut that much off your stool legs or bucket. Guaranteed you'll be happy on the first cut!
