Ghost carbine in 177 for hft

Hello i have a new ghost carbine today just got from AOA in 300 cc bottle, 1) what should my reg be set at and 2) how many shot should i get thanks
What works for someone doesn't mean it's gonna work for you. Air guns are, it's sensitive to pretty much about everything.

You and I could have the same gun, have the exact same settings, and still get different results.

Your air temperature, your atmospheric pressure, the humidity, the altitude. It's all going to affect how your gun differently where you are versus where somebody else is.

As a starting point, the reg in your new Ghost is probably going to need to be in the 100-110 range for a typical 18-19fpe in .177 field target situation. I've got one set up exactly the same, sitting on my bench in my gunroom right now.

Reg in the 100-110 window, MIN on power wheel is 890fps, and MAX on power wheel is 920fps. This is with .177/10.34grain pellets.

thanks for your what pellet you use jbs or hn or something else

The fact that he is using jsbs seems like a hint but you should test both. I have found which pellet is the most important factor and I've never been able to get a gun to like a pellet by changing the tune. I'd get the gun in the fpe range you need per regulation (possibly 20 fpe limit) and then test suitable weight pellets from several manufacturers, pick one, then refine the tune to see if you can improve accuracy a little. You probably want pellets about 10 grains in weight. Jsb 10.34, H&N Baracuda Match, and possibly FTs too. Possibly others. At least some of the accuracy testing should be at 50 yards.

I can help you with this one, we have a thread going called ”ghost collaborative data request “
for Hft I recommend using jsb 13.4’s flying at around 810-815 FPS. So you will need a chronograph to check your settings.
Set the reg at or near 110/115 bar. You can increase reg under pressure but to decrease the pressure you need to degas. Brocock often ships their guns with the reg pressure set higher than necessary.
You should have received your ghost carbine with the white hammer spring installed. If all goes well you will be at or near minimum to 3 ? If my memory serves me well, on the power wheel.
