Ghosted Woodchuck at 44 yards…

My wife calls to me and says is that a woodchuck by the barn or a rabbit? I grab my binoculars and it a chuck. Asked my wife to keep and eye on it. And I ran to the safe and grabbed the Ghost Carbine, loaded up five JSB Exact Jumbo 18s. Got onto my deck and the poor thing didn’t stand a chance, it was offering a frontal shot. I sent a pellet and watch it go instantly down. Tail stiff in the air, kept the scope on it, until tail went down. Right after a cottontail saunters up right behind the expired chuck. My wife saw the kill and is conflicted for alerting me, I smacked her on the butt and said, you did the right thing…🤓 Proof of concept…

Luis! Fantastic 44yd shot and great pic! And, yes, your wife was correct about the hare 👍. That is one chunky ghog for sure! Was shooting my RAW this morning when a pair of HOSP's started feeding under my trap...put a bead on both but didn't pull the trigger.....my wife likes birds but if it was a starling....POP! 😂👍 if that's the new Ghosts first ghog.....CONGRATULATIONS are in order!

Nice job L.L!!

I have a Whistlepig sneaking in to nibble the wife's new plantings. Unlike his cousins, he's not visiting at 7PM so I can't assist him with funeral arrangements...
The only thing I did was “send”. If my wife hadn’t alerted me? On the couch I would’ve remained…🤓 Maybe that whistle pig will let its guard slip and you’ll get lucky… That’s what happened to me…
