Huben GK1 .25 measurement needed

I have a GK1 on order and want to get some slugs on hand before it arrives. I plan to order some .253 and .254 slugs to see which one it likes best. But I need to know the magazine length. Does anyone have a .25 and a micrometer? I was able to do this easily with my .22 and then I would know which slugs would be too long.

Never mind, I just realized the length is going to be the same for the .22 and the .25. They have to have 2 less in the mag for the .25 but mag dimensions I'm sure are identical. For anyone interested, the measurement I get with my micrometer is .434"
So depending on the style of slug used, (flat, cup/dish or boat tail) the same weight will be slightly different lengths, but a max length of .434".

I'd not make the slugs to the exact length of the magazine dimension, nor close to it. If the slugs move in the magazine a jam will likely occur. I had my last slugs made at .420" long and that is about as long as I'd go.

I also stopped short of max length with my .22 but the key is if they are snug and won't move once seated. I have no problem with the .223's moving after seating, they have worked flawlessly. I'm trying the .253's first, hoping for the same result. If they slide after seating I'll go up to the .254's.

I bought some .253 slugs specced at .429 long and they are definitely too long. I put in a couple and they rubbed cycling through so I didn't use them. The diameter seemed fine for seating in a new magazine that didn't have any wear.
