Huben GK1 - leveraging the shroud 👍

I would love to hear what came of the several attempts to quiet the GK1 by using the shroud.

And I am willing to pony up some $$ to buy the shroud parts and nuts that were suggested.


Don't keep quiet about quieting the GK1!

I must commend Weevil for his efforts. He is on the right track, but the limited space in the shroud available is a substantial issue to create an effective stripper. Adding to that dilemma is the lack of a barrel alignment register with the moderator adapter. To be honest. a completely new shroud needs to be made to resolve these issues. It will be expensive to do and I am not certain the possible reduction in sound would justify the cost.

I can't say how well it would work for a 22 or 25, but for a 177 this is real quiet!

Question - if you didn't have a way to make your pistol nose heavy should you adjust your sight to the left? That way im not constantly fixated on that trigger squeeze. As you know there is 10 other things you have to think about and this would eliminate one. In Olympic competition, the pistol...

Weevil, this is off topic but since you use the .22 GTOs, have you pushed it faster to around 990fps? If you have wondering if it impacts the accuracy negatively and how many shots one may get on a full top up. Thanks in advance for any info.
