Huben GK1 optics

It‘s my favorite sight. I like the 1moa dot. The target in the picture is 23 measured yards off a rest….17 shots.
I have two shrouds each set up with several different sight systems. I’ll take pics and post when I get some time….maybe this weekend

Norris,

I didn't have the money to buy the pistol.

So, to make sure I will eventually buy it — I bought the scope for it..... 😆

Yeah, it's backwards and all.... 🤦🏻‍♂️

🔸️I need to learn how to use it right...!

🔸️Does it have any parallax?

🔸️Did you get the one with the exposed elevation turret?

Matthias

No parallax.
Nope, I got the cheap one…..I had my own 34mm mounts already. Plus I wanted it to sit closer to the barrel.
Same here, I also got the "cheap" one. Once zeroed, I just need to write down on a piece of masking tape where zero is. I can do the math (congruent modulo 15)! 15 MOA overs a good distance, but probably shy of 100 yards shooting medium power out of the .22 GK1.

I think I finally got my recipe for my optics.
Holosun red dot as pistol and holosun with a primary arms 6x as a carbine. I can finally see shots clearly in both holds.
I added the factory cheek piece to my stock. The 6x flips to the side when I take the stock off.
The final touch may be going for a cf moderator to lighten a tiny bit.

I think I am going like this 1X Raider. I set it back this far because it will be closer to my eye when I don't use the stock. I have been shooting it without glasses setting the diopter. Very clear. It's so lovely to look through compared to a reflex. I have not stretched it out yet. But I have been hitting nickle size spinner every time over 20 yards. Also, I had to remove some material to make the T-bar flange flat. An angle would be easier. I can see the front part of the Impulse at 6 o'clock, which is not enough to be an annoyance. So, I could not mount the Raider any lower. I am going to shoot some more. :) I have a 1X PA & this is more pleasing for me to look through, maybe just me.

I love that add-on stock that you put together there - nice work, reminds me of some things that an old acquaintance of mine used to cook up. I love the two attachment points

The full top picatinny...how? 🧐
A 10" generic rail from Amazon.
Cut off one end so that hole will line up with the rear sight hole .
Mark the shroud where the other hole in the rail is and drill hole in shroud. (Remove before drill)
You can drill a middle hole in rail and shroud. On my 2nd gk1 I only used 2 holes.

I used mlok nuts and bolts. Ground the nut down to half thickness.
Shroud removed, mount front bolt but leave loose enough so can align rear
Carefully force shroud on. It won't fit if you use normal width nuts.
Mount rear bolt which is purchased separately not a mlok. 2-4 mm longer than factory bolt .
Tighten both and done.

Been messing with this design for almost 2 months now and it's been rock solid...and compatible with all GK1's. Low profile, minimalist design and made with polycarbonate cf.

Leaves the rear sight mount itself attached (I am not a fan of removing that pita tiny pin for the sight mount), just unscrew the rear sight itself. I've come to the conclusion that leaving it on is excessive and it looks weird. Much cleaner without and there's not a superfluous rear sight just hanging out in the back.
