Hey Guys, new member here but... I wanted to give you my take on this great little revolver.I bought this from PA using the usual 10% discount etc, and feel it was well worth the asking price.
I am typically not a big BB pistol fan having been spoiled by the accuracy of 10 meter .177 pellet guns over the years but... this little gun has quickly changed my mind about quality BB pistols (much like the Avanti 499 rifle did for me with BB rifles). First, the quality of this piece is amazing with nearly 100% METAL machined parts used throughout. Fit, finish and appearance is also outstanding. The action and trigger mechanism is also very well done. In single action, my scale shows a 1 lb 14 oz trigger pull... nice! I am using Avanti and Hornady Black-Diamond brands of BBs, with the Avanti being true .177 caliber vs. the typical .173/.174" BBs from Daisy or Umarex. But... so far, the Hornady BBs seem to be best at 10 meters. 1.5" and 2.0" ctc groups are typical with only very occasional flyers like most BB shooters (it's a round ball thing, I guess).
No, it's not the one hole or .38" .43" ctc groups you would get with a rifled barrel, pellet pistol but... the "fun factor" more than makes up for it and, it's plenty accurate for soda-can blasting out to 20 yards. Ejecting and reloading is fun too, and all very realistic to the original Nagant revolver design and function, as is the takedown assembly.
So, not a formal review with stats and numbers and std. deviations etc, just my recommendation for a very well made and cosmetically appealing little pistol for less than $150. Gletcher are doing great things IMO and, my next purchase is going to be the Webley MK VI pistol and I'll review that one too real soon.
