Glock 19 gen3 from umarex

Hi All,

I'm a new owner of the popular umarex glock 19 gen 3 on amazon. It seems like half the reviewers on there had some problems with the gun. I'm wondering if these are issues that can be fixed/maintained yourself with parts etc.

Basically - I really like this gun and havn't had any issues with mine yet- but I'd like for it to last for a long time. If down the road I do have issues with the seal etc- are there things I can do to fix it myself? From what I understand umarex does not sell parts- even over the phone.

i've never had ANY co2 gun "last a long time" without need for repair eventually.

Umarex is about the worst offenders in my experience. Nice lookin' guns, but don't last a year of moderate use.

ASG (Action Sport Games) is a great brand of air-pistol and those last the longest so far for me. "Diana" has treated me well. Stay away from Evike, their warranty and support sucks. Gamo/Winchester/Daisy pistols have been hit-n-miss for me. Gamo revolvers are hefty and last 'bout forever. Crosman does some nice work too.

But if I had to pick ONE brand of budget co2: ASG.

Here, drool down their catalog page for a minute... :)
