Hi Fellas, looking for some review about GMI press and dies.
I'm interested mostly in .25 cal.
How their slugs shoot?

How their slugs shoot?
Even if they look reputable is very difficult to choose them without any review. I think they just stepped into this world and need more time to be competitive with the major brand. So Gmi users do not be shyI've been looking at them too. Will be following.
Hi buddy, what is the BC of these slugs? can you show any group as well? thanks
Hello @Esab , We have been here since 2018-19, Just when FX airguns took interest in working on the slug liner based on Matt's Input and Neilsen slugs. We do not compete with major brands because we make tools not slugs and our philosophy is Self sustainability rather than outright competition,Even if they look reputable is very difficult to choose them without any review. Is this GMI Engineering, freedom press?
It is GMI. Pointy slugs were a thing back then, until we brought the proper Blunt rounded nose in our lineup in 2021-22.No different company
where do you get the lead wire from?Just a few general comments from me.
Getting a few test slugs doesn't work. Tried it, bought thousands of then ended up with scrap lead . Manufacturing variance etc.
What you need is your barrel diameter then order a swage kit suitable. Slug the barrel.
Be prepared to see variables once you start swaging, it took me months to work out temperature changes the outcome.
Now I only swage in a stable temperature room, 21 Celsius.
Lead quality and consistency. I've used a few sources, recycling Zan and jsb have proven consistent. Recycling crap Lead wire purchase, for me has been a lottery.
Swaging is no instant fix, it's a learning curve. A positive hobby development that with practice, provides consistency.
I've only the basic SOC kit second hand, thanks @aroundlocks. Plus a press. For me that works. It's a hobby.
I'm not in the USA but if anyone wants some samples in .22 in Europe I'm happy to oblige.
I'm saving for a GMI .177 swage. Another GMI chapter.
No connection with GMI, simply a swage user.
