Go Brocock Ranger XR or Ghost...?

Well, right now I have the Ranger, and I am waiting to hear on the Ghost. The Ranger is a good "near field" gun, like @L.Leon has done with the Atomic. If I was back in Idaho or can find larger permission in the area, the Ghost range might outshine the Ranger.
@Blackpaw I see. Is the Ranger less powerful than the Atomic? Isn’t that the non-FAC version of the gun that the British use? If so, why’d you select that over the Atomic? I’m interested to see what you think of the Ghost. I thought you might order one since you liked the RTI Prophet. They seem to be equally capable of accuracy at long-range airgun shooting and pesting. In that regard I don’t see how the Ghost and Ranger even compare.

I was looking at the Ranger, mini EVOL, and the ghost carbine. I wanted something short and on the lighter side for hunting in 22. I was lucky enough to be able to shoot the EVOL and Ranger at EBR this year and liked them both. I learned about the Ghost at EBR, but never did get to shoot the one that was there for testing.

The Ranger was a nice rifle and I really liked how compact it was, but I was looking for something that would reach out to 100 yards if needed. The EVOL mini could do that and it was a very nice shooting rifle. When I picked up the Ghost at EBR I really liked the size, adjustability of the hammer spring and the reg. Not a fan of AK grips, but those can be changed out.

I was lucky enough to have my name on the list for a Ghost Carbine in 22 and have had it for a month or so now. It has been out on 1 hunting trip so far and did great. (Lots of heavy rain here) My longest shot so far is 104 yards on dove. It was so good that my beloved 380mm crown 22 will be turned into a slug gun. It loves the H&N 21 grain slugs.

You can't go wrong with either of the rifles, it just comes down to how much power you really want and how far out you want to shoot. The Ghost can be dialed down, for lower power if needed. The Ghost does get a lot more shots than the Ranger. I can get over 50 shots before even worrying about refilling.
