Results GOB Match report 8/8/2015 (written by Pat)

The weather turned out very nice today. A little warm and muggy with practically no wind throughout the match and Harold Rushton took full advantage of it with an amazing score of 59/60 for high scorer overall and in the WFTF class.

Roz has been moving targets back, changing shooting postions and KZ's in an effort to get everyone ready for the upcoming Nationals in North Carolina and just increasing the overall difficulty. He also said that this was the highest score ever at Roz's Hollow. That's saying lot considering past courses and the caliber of shooters that have been coming here for years.

Harold was using his Steyr LG110, Leupold Comp scope and I believe JSB 7.9 pellets. He started on uphill Lane #5 on the White course and had 6's throughout the course until the very last lane and missed the 4th shot for his only miss.

Cliff Smith was second in the WFTF class with a score of 38/60 using a TM1000, Aeon 8-32 scope and AA 8.4 pellets.

Charles Garvey was high scorer with 53/60 in the Hunter class using an FWB P70, Aeon scope and JSB 10.3 pellets. Jeff Hale was second in the Hunter class with a score of 38/60 using an HM1000, Alaskan Guide scope and AA 10,3 pellets.
Mark Buchanan was 3rd with a score of 32/60 using a TM1000, Hawke scope and AA 10.3 pellets.

Tops in the PCP class was Roz Sumpter with a score of 48/60 using a TM1000, Aeon 10-40 scope and AA 10.3 pellets. Sandra Rutterford finished second with a score of 46/60 with her TM1000, Aeon 10-40 scope and AA 10.3 pellets. Pat O'Brien was 3rd with a score of 40/60 with a TM1000, Nikko 10-50 scope and JSB 8.4 pellets. 4th place in the PCP class was Jim Baumann using (You guessed it) another TM1000, Sightron scope and AA 10.3 pellets.
Several regulars were missed, but hopefully they will be back with us in two weeks at Invicta in Minor Hill.
Good luck to Harold and all of the US team in Europe for the upcoming World's FT match.

I believe where Pat said "highest score ever at Roz's Hollow" he intended to say highest Troyer level ever at Roz's Hollow. (see the chart I posted if you do not know the Troyer levels by Heart. Considering Roz in the last 10 years has hosted 2 FT Nationals and 1 FT Wolrd Championship event, fairly tough course layout. Congrats to all the shooters. And if you've never been to the Good Ole' Boys Club at Roz's Hollow in Pulaski TN, you need to come on down and enjoy the fun!

And a special wish of good luck to my Friend Harold Rushton who is headed off the the World's right now, and to everyone else, good luck.
