Thanks orangeokie. All my kid are shooters. My son is a Pro Handgun shooter. Ranked #11 right now as a Carry optic competitor(grand master) (Sam Patrick Callahan). The "other" daughter(Grace Callahan llc) is a Pro Shotgun competitor. She is sponsored by and works for Caesar Guerini. She made the PSCA tour as a 16 year old and won a tour stop!! She was the first 4 time SCTP National Champ. The non-pro shoots pellets with me. As you can see, I am a very proud father.

The reason that I am tentative about the CLX models is that I've read that they have the transfer port press fit into the receiver and barrel. This makes it difficult to remove. Therefore, even taking the barrel off is a difficult task.

If I find that there is a simple way to remove the transfer port, I would quickly buy the Ultra CLX.

I've read the newly designed CLX block and plumbing is a big "advancement" over the R10's. I have an R10 and have had zero problems with it, but I like the CLX as well.
