Sorry for the noob question, but is the fill valve different on the FX M4? If so, do I need a different attachment/adaptor?

Yeah the gun has a standard quick connect fitting but it is a bit recessed (at least the m3 is) and mine (m3) came with a longer adapter which made connecting your compressor or tank to it much easier.

Just placed an order this morning with UA for the .30 M4 Standard in Copper, said in stock until I completed the order and it said OOS, pre-order. Kind of shady or bad inventory system?

I live in Utah, so I've been to Utah Air Guns, and the shop is run the same way. They don't even know what's in stock when you're standing there looking at the gun.

You could check talon tunes. I think he had some iterations in copper in stock last week. Just cannot remember what calibers or barrel combos they were. They are hard to get your hands on for sure. Especially the copper. Don’t know why FX even bothers with the black.

My .22 standard M4 came with the quick connect, got it from The Pallet Shop last week. It looks like they still have some copper M4 in stock in various caliber. i bought a longer extension from Amazon that fits perfectly to M4 though, so the fx adaptor is now the backup.
