Going to florida

Would be interesting to get your take on why you went back to the Ghost and Atomic XR. It’s no secret I love my little Atomic XR…
The Atomic is an awesome little thumper, shooting .25 at around 23 fpe. I recently had a client whose first airgun was a Gamo, he purchased it to deal with around 20-30 iguanas on a shared lake but was unable to zero it due to recoil, trigger and unfamiliarity. When troubleshooting his accuracy issue, I had him shoot the Atomic and he took to it like a duck in water. He was overwhelmed by how gentle of a shooter it was. Now when it comes to critical equipment, there is redundancy built into the business and figured having something that could reach out a little further would not hurt. I tried to order a Sidewinder for testing, but after about two weeks waiting (and more research on the SK-19) I canceled and got a used Leshiy 2. Loved the weight, "pointability" and power of the Leshiy 2 ... but the trigger is unique and a person with poor trigger work can cause a pellet to go where it shouldn't (not worth the risk). The Ghost HP is an absolute inconvenience to carry around, but paired with an Arken Zulus LRF is a tack driver that reduces human error. Tomorrow I have a new shooter working an area with me, if she does well with the Ghost I will consider standardizing the Atomic + Ghost + Zulus pairings. I prefer repairs be done in house and there is value in keeping the variants, replacement parts and knowledge pool to a minimum.

Edit: To clarify, we do not run tours and I think anyone interested would have a blast with an experienced guide like JaceSpace.

Yeah, we have only had one night dip into the 40's and none falling out of trees. Big increase in calls for iguanas on roofs though trying to sap up the heat from the metal and clay roofs. It is just the iguanas that people are finally noticing. Sadly our area is nowhere near as populated as yours and the east coast. How do you like the leshiy classic? I used a leshiy 2 for a little and loved certain aspects of it, but have moved back to the Ghost for most work and an Atomic XR for the close stuff.
I love it, it's quiet enough to not scare the rest of the iguanas. Where ever I point and squeeze is where the pellet/slug goes, and because it's single fed I take my time more. If one foot I'll use for iguanas out to 35-40yds. If braced, out to 60yds. I have other guns I use for longer distances. I currently have the leshiy classic in .22 and set up for 20fpe with the 18.13gr fx

I appreciate that! We primarily use FX guns, although I got rid of mine for a huben k1 just to venture out of the FX, but I do the work on our teams FX unless it comes to repairing the regulator simply because it can be a pain and in that instance we drop them off at @PalmBeachAirguns since they are local to us and he make greata and speedy work.
