Going too good

Took this down to clean and relube and putting it back together man it was going too smooth. Keepers just popped right in trigger, safety and the 2 pins just dropped in to place i mean smooth and easy as ever ......

Well right up till i went to put the barrel back on and seen why it went yhat far easy and trouble free..

That oops bonehead moment..lol

Well i guess nothing like rework after you think your shining.. man..

Whenever I work on one of my springers, the job usually ends with these 3 steps: take it apart, do it over, do it right. Uj
Ya, i was just going at a la de ,la de ,la pace. You know that smooth sailing...

Thing was how i had to be looking at it and never noticed. I guess i got eyes but cant see...lol

never taken a springer apart yet............. yet !
Well this hw/r9 the spring broke in like 4 months of use.. then with that the seal was spiderweb cracked and cracked completely through. Also hard as a rock.

Personly im finding a guy best served when new to take it down and see what he got in the factory work . Been pretty sloppy more then just right.

I've taken apart and tuned every gun I've owned. First thing I do is scrub the barrel and shoot it.
If accuracy is good, I immediately take it apart and give it a full tune. I then create the power level, shot cycle balance and tune the trigger.
- The gun then becomes everything I want it to be ... plus I enjoy the mechanical work:)
