Good Airgun Dog Name?

How about "Doggie" after my late best friend I ever had.

I've tried a few different names but the final decision is HUNTER and he responded to it immediately so I think he likes it too. I shoot Hunter Field Target and I think he is part terrier. Thanks everyone!

After seeing your puppy, I knew Hunter was a winner the minute I came up with it!

I'm getting another dog and I'm considering naming him something to go with my favorite hobby; Air gunning!
He is a Pug / Chihuahua mix.
So far, all I can think of is BB or Trigger.
Any good idea ideas out there?!

I named my hunting buddy Orion. As in Orion the hunter in Greek mythology. We just got back from South Dakota last week. It was his first big multi day hunt. He did very well. He’s all business in the field though and didn’t want to take a selfie picture with me. I don’t blame him. We did it for mom anyhow. He even came back with a battle scar from a barb wire fence. He’s tough but a complete baby at home.
