My Royal in .177 is incredibly accurate out to 60 yards. I’m betting that you are going to be pretty happy with what your rifle can do. Post pictures of the groups! Have fun.
You may want to turn your gun upside down and clean the barrel with ballistol before trying groups. I'd use a patchworm or just a loop knot on a strong thin string and a big enough patch to get really snug. You turn it upside down so the ballistol doesn't get into the transfer port. Good shooting!
Yes it is! That rifle is built for bench. If you haven’t found them already, find yourself a good front rest/bipod, and rear sand bag, then start pellet testing!
I have been looking at front rest and bags and realize that some of the better one cost as much as I paid for the rifle, think I’m going to go with a Caldwell for now to see if I like benchrest and get a better one if I like it.
Well she is definitely a good shooter, was getting 1/4” groups at 50yds using the magazine and bought a single shot pellet tray and now pretty much hitting the same hole, didn’t think that single loading would make a big difference but it did.
Congrats! That is one fine looking rifle and I am glad it’s shooting accurately for you. What weight have you found to be the most accurate so far for you, 25s or 34s?
