I grew up shooting with MOA scopes, switched to pure MIL while in the service, and I'm back to MOA for the last 25+ years in civilian life. I wouldn't agree with half of the above. I really don't think one is really better than the other at 100-500 yard ranges. I would prefer MIL over MOA for long range centerfire shooting. Short range (sub 150 meters) I don't think it really matters. That's just a personal opinion though.

A whole my life I was a metric guy, I can work inches but as pure numbers only.
My scopes are MOA, just because the target rings are MOA. Otherwise I don't care, I like high quality glass and simple reticle.
