GoPro Hero 11 Black & Eaglevision 12mm Lens question

Has anyone here successfully removed the stock lens that comes with the GoPro Hero 11? If you have, what was your method of doing so? (As I am about to receive my eaglevision lens replacement later today and am needing to remove the stock lens myself, I have watched the video by Hajimoto, and I have removed the "glue" (?) that goes around the lens, and I am at the prying stage, but I dont want to use so much force to where I damage my brand new gopro 11. Any advice? I could surely use it!

It is glued on hard and I had to use some force to get it moving
Another issue is limited space to grip the lens so a decent quality needlenose pliers are a must

If your needle nose pliers slip and pop off the edges of that lens, that lens is jacked up. Interesting that the replacement lens was not glued into place. Does anyone make any sideshot types of film-through-scope systems form GoPro cameras beyond the GoPro Hero 7?
