Got a little practicing done in the wind today

Got some shooting done in the wind today,
(8mph with 20mph cross breeze at times) it was purposeful....

Shot 5 cards, all 5 cards based on scores at past 3 events that have taken place would have gotten me into the finals on a day like today , but not good enough to win, but , they were all consistent in score and I didn't use a single sighter shot.

Confident in my shots, but definitely need to learn how to make use of the tools given to me.

But most important I've spent the entire day outside with peri, enjoying it. That's what is really about...

I have also been practicing in the wind. It's a Challange but not a drudgery. what has helped me is wind flags at the target area and one on the gun. I shoot RNFT on a range I set up in the mountains, 10 to 100 yards, and fixed targets out in the desert south of Boise. constant wind is easier for me to judge, swirling gusty bursts, that's a real hard one for me. Like your dog and your rifle thanks for the post!
